Description

Join us Saturday, September 17th for the 2nd Annual Vertical Strides 5k Run/Walk presented by Vertical 196 Hope Center located in Newark, Ohio.
Walkers are welcome!

All proceeds raised at this event will support Vertical 196 which serves as resource center for those experiencing homelessness in Licking County.

RACE COURSE

Vertical Strides 5K features out & back course on paved, scenic bike path in Newark, Ohio. It will start & finish at Rotary Park located on the edge of OSU-Newark/COTC campus.

AWARDS

Awards will be issued to the Top three overall male/female finishers.

Awards will also be issued to the top male/females in each of the following age categories:

14-under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

RACE RESULTS:
Live results will be published live HERE.
Onsite live Results Kiosk will be available.
Email and Live Text results will also be available (opt-in required during registration)

RACE PACKETS & FINISHLINE PERKS

Your race packet will include race-shirt with the official race logo, finish line food and beverage.

EARLY PACKET PICK-UP & RACE DAY REGISTRATION:
Race Day registration and Packet pick-up will be at Rotary Park on the edge of OSU/COTC campus – 925 Sharon Valley Rd, Newark, OH US 43055- Starting at 7:30am

ENTRY FEES: (non-refundable)
5k Race / 5k Fun Run/Walk (Non-Timed) - $25 - through Sept.10th – Late Entry $30 Sept. 11th to race day

REFUND POLICY

***NOTE***
If we are unable to safely hold an in-person race for ANY reason including mother nature or pandemics, we will automatically convert all registrations to a non-refundable virtual event as opposed to rescheduling. Updates will be posted on the race website.
