Race Start time: 8:30AM
T-Shirts for the first 150 people who register. Guaranteed shirt size available for those who registered by August 16, 2024.
Why: This race is to raise awareness and support for Project Hope for the Homeless, the only emergency homeless shelter in Lake County
For the 5K race: The top 3 male finishers and top 3 female finishers will be awarded.
Awards will also be given to the top 3 finishers in these age groups:14 and younger, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+
The 1 Mile Walk is untimed and no awards will be given.
Location: Project Hope for the Homeless, 25 Freedom Road, Painesville Township, Ohio - (off Newell Street, first street north of the railroad tracks)
Parking: The Dyson Corporation parking lot on Freedom Road just to the west of Project Hope for the Homeless.
Day of event in-person registration along with race bib and shirt distributions will be from 7:30 am to 8:15 am Sat. Aug. 24 at Project Hope for the Homeless.

Course
5K Course
1 Mile Course
The course will start in the driveway on the SE side, turn right on Freedom Road, then quickly turn left onto Newell Street toward Blackbrook Road. Walkers will turn around at that intersection. Runners will make a left onto Blackbrook Road and go west and turn right onto Callendar Blvd and go to the cul-de-sac for a water stop and turn around to head back.
On the way back, runners and walkers will head south on Newell and turn right at the Lubrizol entrance and then make a left turn and another left turn onto Freedom Road. Then they will take the first driveway of the shelter back around the horseshoe to the finish.
