Virtual 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run
Run or walk to support the Bryan and Beth Gallagher Powers Scholarship
Established in 2019 by the family of Bryan ’53 and Beth Gallagher ’52 Powers, this scholarship was created to honor a student for his/her commitment to the ideals of Holy Name High School.
Bryan and Beth are graduates of Holy Name, as are many of their relatives, including their seven children and several grandchildren. They are dedicated Namers and have served the school in many capacities. Bryan is a member of the Athletic Hall of Fame and they are both recipients of the Fred and Ruth Seitz Award, which recognizes a married couple for their service to the school. As the manager of the school cafeteria from 1977 to 1988, Beth’s kind nature endeared her to faculty and students alike. They continue to attend and support numerous events at the school.
