Description
Do you know someone with breast cancer, or someone who has had breast cancer? You're probably nodding your head 'yes' because breast cancer is the most common reportable cancer among women in Ohio, regardless of race. In our Buckeye State, it accounts for 28 percent of all cancers diagnosed in women.
This fall, join the fight to "Save the Pumpkins" with a 5K run/walk through our beautiful, lakefront Sandusky, Ohio.
All proceeds will benefit The Foundations for the following North Coast Healthcare Collaborative Hospital Systems: Firelands Health, Fisher-Titus, and Magruder Hospital.
The North Coast Healthcare Collaborative will use the funds to invest in patient support, breakthrough equipment, and research to prevent, diagnose and cure breast cancer. Donations from friends and family who do not wish to race but would like to support the cause are encouraged.

Day-of registration cost: $27.00
T-shirts are not guaranteed for registrations after Sept. 20, 2026 and will not be sold at the race.

Packet Pick-up:
Friday, Oct. 2, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at Firelands Regional Medical Center Professional Building II, 703 Tyler St., Sandusky, OH 44870. Parking is available in lots D or E.

Parking Details
Due to ongoing construction in the area, parking near the event location will be limited. Please allow additional time to park and walk to the event. Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis at the following locations:

Maritime Museum parking lot: 125 Meigs St.

City of Sandusky Municipal Court parking lot: 222 Meigs St.

Shoreline Park: 411 E. Water St.

Surrounding on-street parking
Carpooling is recommended when possible to help accommodate parking needs. For those utilizing on-street parking, please follow all posted parking restrictions and signage. Be mindful of driveways, intersections, fire hydrants and other designated access areas. Additional parking may be available farther from the event area; please allow sufficient time to locate public parking areas.

T-Shirts
The registration deadline to receive a T-shirt is Sept. 20, 2026. After the deadline, T-shirt inventory will update in real time while supplies last. If shirts are still available, you will have the option to select one during registration. You may choose from any of the remaining sizes. T-shirts are not guaranteed for registrations after Sept. 20, 2026, and will not be sold at the race.

Yes! They just need your first and last name to pick up.
Yes! One water station will be located on the race route, and another water station will be near the finish line.

If your child is 12 or younger and would like their time recorded and considered for awards, they must register. Otherwise, only the accompanying adult is required to register. All participants over 12 must register.
