Description
Do you know someone with breast cancer, or someone who has had breast cancer? You're probably nodding your head 'yes' because breast cancer is the most common reportable cancer among women in Ohio, regardless of race. In our Buckeye State, it accounts for 28 percent of all cancers diagnosed in women.
This fall, let's join the fight to "Save the Pumpkins" with a 5K run/walk through our beautiful, lakefront Sandusky, Ohio.
All proceeds will benefit The Foundations for the following North Coast Healthcare Collaborative Hospital Systems: Firelands Health, Fisher-Titus, and Magruder Hospital.
The North Coast Healthcare Collaborative will use the funds to invest in patient support, breakthrough equipment, and research to prevent, diagnose and cure breast cancer. Donations from friends and family who do not wish to race but would like to support the cause are encouraged.

Pre-registration cost: $25.00
Day-of registration cost: $27.00
Race T-Shirts available only if you register by September 20, 2026.

Friday, Oct. 2, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at Firelands Regional Medical Center Professional Building II, 703 Tyler St., Sandusky, OH 44870. Parking is available in lots D or E.

Parking Details
Due to ongoing construction in the area, parking near the event location will be limited. Please allow additional time to park and walk to the event. Participants are encouraged to utilize the parking areas listed below. Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis at the following locations:

Maritime Museum parking lot: 125 Meigs St.

City of Sandusky Municipal Court parking lot: 222 Meigs St.

Shoreline Park: 411 E. Water St.

Surrounding on-street parking
Carpooling is recommended when possible to help accommodate parking needs. For those utilizing on-street parking, please follow all posted parking restrictions and signage. Be mindful of driveways, intersections, fire hydrants and other designated access areas. Additional parking may be available farther from the event area; please allow sufficient time to locate public parking areas.

T-Shirts
The registration cut-off date to receive a t-shirt is Sept. 20, 2026. If you register after the cut-off date, you will not receive a t-shirt. Any remaining t-shirts will be sold at the race on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no guarantee that there will be shirts available for purchase. If you'd like to secure this year's t-shirt, please register by Sept. 20, 2026.

Yes! One water station will be located on the race route, and another water station will be near the finish line.
