There's No Place Like Home 5k Run/Walk

There's No Place Like Home 5k is a timed run and walk fundraiser for Family House.
The course will start and finish at The National Museum of the Great Lakes, continue through Glass City Metropark and International Park. All ages and ability levels welcome. This is a Run and Walk.
Bring the family. Register up to 4 participants at the same time for $100 or individual registration is $50. $50 provides 1 night of emergency shelter for a family.
First 100 to register will receive a one day pass to the National Museum of the Great Lakes. Register by May 10th to get the exclusive race t-shirt. All participants will receive medals. Overall Finisher awards will be given, including a Membership to the National Museum of the Great Lakes for the 1st place winners.

Family House is the largest family shelter in northwest Ohio, allowing families to stay together when the loss of a job, financial hardships, or other unavoidable emergencies occur. We at Family House are building these families up and giving them the skills and hand up needed to become the strong family unit we know they are. We provide case management in a safe, supportive environment to help residents get on the feet to move them on to permanent housing and solutions to hopefully end the cycle of poverty. At Family House it is about dignity and a hand up for a better life and a brighter future.
