ALS Fundraiser 5k (in honor of Dave Peck)

Please join us in honoring Dave Peck, a graduate of Vandalia Butler High School, and former minor league baseball player with the Montreal Expos organization, as he battles ALS.  Proceeds from this race will benefit the ALS Foundation.   While the ALS Foundation for Life is optimistic for the day when a cure or prevention for ALS is discovered, it is equally aware that they cannot sit back idly waiting for scientific research and FDA approvals. The goal of the foundation is to do whatever possible to ease the physical, emotional, and financial burdens that accompany this diagnosis for the men and women in our community who are forced to battle this disease on a daily basis.

The race will start at 9:00am near Shelter#2 at Duke Park and follow the bike path along the Great Miami River.  Packet Pickup will start at 8:00am at Shelter#2.
