The 1st annual Coffee & Cocoa 5k Run is all set to PERK up your spirits on Saturday, November 23rd, 2024, at Riverside Park. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just want a leisurely stroll with a cup of joe, there's a spot for you in our timed 5K Race or one of our more relaxed non-timed events the 5k Fun Run or 1M Walk. This isn't just a run; it's a caffeine-fueled celebration that welcomes runners and walkers of all levels for a family-friendly morning that goes beyond the love of Coffee & Cocoa.
Get ready to lace up and sip up for a morning sprinkled with energy, community spirit, and a dash of caffeine. This event is all about connection, creating unforgettable moments, and channeling the joy of movement into a cause that matters. Whether you're an avid runner or a casual walker, your strides will BREW strong support for an extraordinary mission. Your participation will be energizing more than just yourself. It will also help bolster our 2024 charity partner:
Project Blueprint 740 a local program helping our most at risk youth in Zanesville. The program goal is to give the boys the tools to escape a life of violence, drugs and negative influences. The program provides guidance and mentorship to build their accountability and self-esteem they will need to grow into respectful young adults.

RACE REGISTRATION & PACKET PICK-UP
Packet pickup and morning of registration will begin at 7:30am in at the main parking lot south of the ballfields.
RACE COURSE
The Course is flat and fast. It will follow the Muskingum River and tree lined roads and paved bike trail within the park. There will be a water station at the halfway point and plenty of refreshments at the finish line. Stollers and Friendly pets are welcome!
RACE PACKETS & FINISHLINE PERKS
All participants will receive a Premium Tri-Blend Race Shirt, Free Specialty Coffee or Cocoa from Kingdom Coffee, product samples from “Untapped” all-natural athletic fuel, and plenty of finish line snacks.
AWARDS
Gift baskets and Custom one-of-a-kind trophies will be given to the top three overall male and female finishers. One-of-a-kind awards will also be awarded to the top three finishers in each of the following age categories: 14-under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+ Walkers are welcome!
PARKING AND TRAFFIC
Parking will be in the lot south of the Baseball fields. Traffic should enter and exit the South end of the park, near the Boat ramp and Shelter house.
