Merry Mitchmas 5K & 10K

Our beneficiary partner organization for the Merry Mitchmas 5K & 10K is Homeless Alliance. Their mission is to rally our community to end homelessness. They strive to end long-term homelessness in OKC by building the capacity of the community through collaboration with other agencies, identifying and filling gaps in homeless services, bringing nationally-recognized best practices to the community, and working to build a system that is more efficient, rational, and caring.

Red Coyote is proud to support their mission and the work they do in our community. If you'd like to help as well, you can donate during registration, make a separate donation at the button above, or visit their website to learn more and get involved.

As an additional measure of support for our partners at Homeless Alliance, we are encouraging runners to donate gently used winter coats, hats, gloves, scarves, etc. They have also expressed a need for new, packaged underwear and socks for men and women in a variety of sizes. Bring any contribution items along with you on race day and we'll have a collection point on site for drop off. Share the gift of warmth this holiday season and thanks for helping Red Coyote make a difference!

Packet Pick Up will be at the Oklahoma City Store on Thursday December 19th during store hours from 10-7.

Packet Pick UP will be at BOTH the OKC and Edmond Stores on Friday December 20th during store hours from 10-7.

Edmond Store address is 1300 W Covell Edmond, OK. 73013

The Merry Mitchmas course is a clockwise loop of the Mitch Park Rec Trail. The 5K does one lap and the 10K does two. 

The terrain is gently rolling and suitable for runners of all abilities.

Participants should park in the primary parking lot on the West side of the ball fields. Secondary parking will be available in the south ball field parking lot although exit access will be restricted during the run. Additional overflow parking is also available in the MAC center and YMCA lots but please use these as a last resort.

If you are coming from outside of Edmond, just a heads up that traffic through town and in flow to the park can take longer than expected on weekends and for special events. Please plan to arrive early for the best and most efficient experience. 2023 Parking Availability Map is available for download below.

Last minute schedule change, illness, injury, or ended up having to work? We are pleased to announce that optional race insurance is available during the registration process made available by AGA. To learn more about coverage or file a claim you can click this INSURANCE INFORMATION link.. Race insurance is offered by a third party and Red Coyote Running & Fitness has no oversight or ability to manage or intervene with claims. 

Red Coyote uses MyLaps Bib Tag timing and live online results. Participants can also enable finish time text and email notifications for themselves, friends, and family. All runners will also be able to view, download, print, and share a custom finisher certificate with your time from your online results. We are also pleased to partner with Okie Pics to offer event photos loaded to your results from the race. You can download, print, and share all these great assets and we invite you to #RedCoyote and # the event name in your social posts to let everyone know what a great time you had!
