Run to the Well - 15k, 5k and Fun Run

It's our 10th ANNIVERSARY RUN TO THE WELL!!! Join us April 13, 2023 as we CELEBRATE TEN YEARS of support clean water in Uganda!

25% of people in Uganda do not have access to clean water. 66% do not have access to improved sanitation.  We want to help communities fix that. 

Proceeds from Run to the Well support Kibo Group’s W.A.S.H. - Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene program, which partners with rural Ugandan communities to address water access and hygiene issues.

Timing: Chip timed on a USATF certified course

5k:

Cost: Early Bird: $25  /  After February 29th: $30
Start Time: 8:40 a.m.
Timing: Chip

FUN RUN:

Unofficial fun for everyone! 
Cost: Early Bird: $10 / After February 29th: $15
Start Time: 8:05 a.m. 
Timing: No timing
T-shirt: Free shirt included if you register before March 11, 2024
Prizes: First, second, and third place prizes for males and females

JERRY CAN CHALLENGE:

Get a team and work together to carry a jerrycan 5 kilometers.
Get a team and register for the Jerrycan Challenge! Your team will be given a jerrycan of water before the race that weighs about 40 pounds. The team that gets their can through the course first wins! You can't use anything to help you (like a pole or wheels). Just your hands, arms, head, and muscles.
To register:  Click "Jerrycan Challenge" on the left menu of this page.  Then create a team or join an existing one.  Each team member will sign up using the "Jerrycan challenge - 5k" option and will be asked to join a team during check out.  Teams will run the 5K course along with the normal 5K race starting at 8:40 a.m.
