About the Event:
The Fourth Annual Trojan Tough 5k & Fun Run/Walk (TT5k) features a fast, flat course beginning and ending at the Jenks High School track in downtown Jenks. The final lap of both events takes place on the track! All participants receive a technical t-shirt featuring our awesome logo.
Age group medals awarded in 5-year increments; student age group awards in 2-year increments. All proceeds will benefit the students of Jenks East Intermediate, including funding Jenks Wild Environmental Camp supplies such as sleeping bags, towels, and water shoes for deserving students, . We are excited to announce that this year a portion of proceeds will go toward establishing a student walking/running track at Jenks East Intermediate. If we raise sufficient funds, a portion will go toward renovating the Rentie Grove trail area. There is an option for donating directly toward the walking/running track, so even if you are unable to participate, please consider purchasing a t-shirt or supporting construction of our track and trail.
This is a family-friendly race which will feature music, refreshments, and door prizes - and following the race you can take the family to the nearby Jenks Aquarium or enjoy the Riverwalk and downtown Jenks. Bring the family and come run or walk with us and make it a day! Thank you for your support.
There will be a special "traveling trophy" competition for the 5th and 6th grade JEI homeroom with the most participants.
