Okie's Against ALS - 5k & Fun Run

About the Okie’s Against ALS 5k and Fun Run:  The 3rd annual Okie's Against ALS 5k & Fun Run will be on June 13th at Hatbox Sports Complex in Muskogee.   This event is to help support the great people in the Green country area that have been affected by ALS and to raise money for the fight against ALS.  All proceeds will be going to ALS Patient Service Outreach (APSO) who services directly help and support patients and their family's.

Location and 5k Course: The start & finish of the race will be at the soccer field concessions, which is very close to the Hatbox entrance at 40th and Denver.  This course will be an out and back course using the Hatbox Field runway and the Centennial Trail.  Scroll down to download the course map. 

Event Details: 

- 5k Registration fees: $25 before May 10, $30 from May 11 to June 7, and $35 the week of the event

- Fun Run Registration Fees: $15 before May 10, $20 from May 11 to June 7, and $25 the week of the event

- Wings Discount: All wings members can take $5 off their pre-registration with coupon code: wings5k

- Virtual Run: $30 - For those that live too far from Muskogee but want to participate and support this event.  Virtual runners will be shipped a pair of shorts.  Must sign up by June 7th.  

- Shorts:  All participants will get pair of shorts in either women's and men's cut.  They run a bit large, so go for the smaller size if you are on the fence.    

- Finishers Medals: To all Fun Runners and 12 & Under 5k Participants 

- Finishers Gift:  For all 5k runners 13 & Over, your finishers medal is Okie's Againsts ALS tumbler with slider lid. 

- Awards: The winner of each age group with get a gift jar filled with goodies, gift certificates, and coupons.  Age groups are 12 & Under, 13 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, 70 & Over. 

- Race Day Info: Registration/packet pickup opens at 6:30.  5k & Fun Run will start at 7:30
