Eagle OPS Run with A Hero 5K (scheduled for June 27, 2020) is cancelled.
We were hopeful that June would bring good news regarding the status of our “tentative” permit with the City of Tulsa for the use of Mohawk Park. Unfortunately, we received word that beginning June 1st they would only be approving permits for 100 people or less and at this time cannot give further information regarding when they will approve permits beyond those numbers.
As a non-profit organization focused on supporting our Service Members Veterans and their Families, the board voted that it was in the best interest of these efforts (both time & funding) to cancel the Run with A Hero 5K at this time. We appreciate everyone who supports this event and the mission to unite At Risk Youth in our community with our Community Heroes (Service Members, Veterans & First Responders.) Because of this mission and the overall mission of Eagle OPS to literally CONNECT with each other, we did not feel that a virtual event would be a viable option. Eagle OPS has every intention of hosting this impactful event again in 2021 and we hope you will join us!
Additionally, we intend to move forward with planning in preparation of our Welcome Home 5K on November 14th, 2020. We hope to see you there!

What are my options?
As a race participant and Eagle OPS Difference Maker, we know that these circumstances are as out of your control as they are ours. We value you as a member of our Eagle OPS family and we want to make sure you have an opportunity to do what best suits your unique circumstances with your Run with A Hero 5K registration. Read below and select the best option for you!
Transfer My Registration to the Welcome Home 5K (November 14th 2020): This option is only for those who did NOT purchase the “Freedom Bundle” for both the Run with A Hero & Welcome Home 5K.
Donate My Registration: Since we are a 501c3 non-profit, you have the option to donate the amount you paid for your registration to The Eagle OPS Foundation to help us continue the mission of “Connecting Relationships & Resources to Bring Our Heroes Home, One Operation at a Time.” If you select this option, we will send you a donation letter to be used for tax purposes.
Defer My Registration: You have the option to defer your registration to the Run With A Hero 5K – June 2021 (Date TBD).
Request a Refund: In an effort of fairness to our valued participants given their unique situations, we have an option to receive a refund of your race registration.

HONORING OUR HEROES & BENEFITING AT-RISK YOUTH IN OUR COMMUNITY
At Eagle OPS Veteran Foundation, we believe in being Difference Makers. As the veterans we support often experience a lost sense of purpose in their journey home, our at-risk youth often battle to ever discover a healthy sense of purpose. As a part of our Reach One More Operation, we’ve created the EAGLE OPS RUN WITH A HERO 5K. Our mission is to provide an opportunity for our at-risk youth to connect with our community HEROES while they run/walk our event. All military, veterans, first responders, and patriots are invited to join us in this community building event. We hope this mission will build a bridge for our at-risk youth by providing them with a positive role model and encouragement through our community HEROES, while helping our veterans rediscover purpose through service. Packet Pickup:
EARLY PICKUP: June 26th, 2020 at Fleet Feet Tulsa - STORE LOCATION TBD 11AM to 7PM **We recommend the early packet pickup to avoid long lines and delays on race day.
RACE DAY PICKUP: At the registration tent beginning at 6:45AM.
