Bowling Fundraiser for Digital Equity Ottawa

Take a minute to think of all the things you do using the Internet: booking appointments, staying connected with family and friends, researching purchases and special deals, checking the weather, finding the best route to your destination, working, studying, Now imagine what your life would be like if you couldn’t use a device connected to the Internet! 

Many of our community members don’t have to imagine it, they are living it. A few statistics:

In 2021, approximately 24.1% of households in Ontario in the lowest income quartile did not have internet access at home. Statistics Canada. "Internet Access at Home by Household Income Quartile, Ontario, 2021."
