Mountain Valley Turkey Trot 2025

Get ready for Thanksgiving dinner with a 3.2 mile fun run or walk through Island City, OR ending and beginning at Mountain Valley Therapy parking lot. 

The Thanksgiving Day tradition, organized by MVT/MVFH, is an all-ages family event that raises money each year for a local non-profit. This year all proceeds will benefit the La Grande Swim Club. 

The Turkey Trot is a family event that has something for everyone! Come run, walk and cheer all while benefitting a great new organization that promotes physical activity in our grade schools.

What is the La Grande Swim Club?

The La Grande Swim Club as a member of USA Swimming seeks to foster the growth and safe development of young people through participation in swimming, and to provide a safe environment in which swimmers may develop to the fullest extent.

La Grande Swim Club is a year round competitive swim team offering high quality professional coaching and technique instruction for all ages and abilities. The goal of LGSC is to provide every member an opportunity to improve swimming skills and achieve success at his or her level of ability, from novice to international competitor. The club is typically the next step students take after completing our swim lesson program, and is a fantastic way to help your kid build healthy, fun, competitive habits, as well as lifelong friendships!

We are a non profit club, run by its elected Board of Directors which meets each month. All members are welcome at each meeting and encouraged to be involved in team activities and fundraisers.
