Early Packet Pick-up: We will have an early packet pick up on Wednesday November 26th from 5-8 pm at Jem 100(208 N Main St. Newberg OR 97132). We will have a tent outside ready to check you in and give you your shirt, bib number and participant packet. Kids run participants do not have a packet, but they will want to pick up their bib numbers.
Day of Packet Pick-up: If you cannot make it to the early packet pick up on Wednesday, we will be opening our check in station at 7 am Thursday November 27th to be able to get everyone their participant packets, bibs and shirts. We are expecting over 400 people again this year so plan to arrive early if possible. Kids run participants do not have a packet, but they will want to pick up their bib numbers.

Sponsors: We would like to thank our amazing sponsors for their donation to our event. We appreciate you and could not do this event without your support. A special shout out to our 2 biggest sponsors Builder's First Choice as our title sponsor and Mr. Rooter Plumbing as our bib sponsor.
Volunteers: A special thank you to all of our volunteers we could not do this event without you. You will get a shirt and raffle ticket as a thank you for the gift of your time. If you are signed up to volunteer for either the 5K or the kids run please arrive to Jem 100's parking lot by 8 am. We will have a volunteer coordinator available to answer any questions and get you set up on the route. If you have signed up on our sign-up genius webpage you will get a separate email with more details.
Strollers/Dogs: Strollers and dogs are welcome on the route at your own risk. Dogs must be well behaved. We are expecting about a lot of runners again this year and some areas of the route will be crowded.
Parking: Jem 100’s parking lot will be closed off for the event. We recommend finding street parking or using one of the 3 public parking lots within walking distance of the event. The map below has 3 options, the cultural center, public library and parking off 2nd street behind downtown businesses.

Route: We have modified the round due to constructions on the sidewalks down college street. Please see the updated map for the new route. There is a 2 mile turn off at Pinehurst Street for those walkers/runners who do not want to do the full 5K. There will be a sign holder at the corner designating this turn.

Route Safety: This is an untimed event with no streets being blocked. All participants need to obey all traffic laws and stay on the sidewalks/right side of the road wherever possible. Cars will not stop for you so please yield to all vehicles. Please watch for volunteers at all turns holding red and white direction signs.
Kids Run Cheering Crew: We could use as many people as possible to help line Sheridan Street to cheer on the kids. They will be running to the cultural center and back. We have volunteers assigned but the bigger the crowd the better for the little kiddos! Some of these guys are doing their first organized run and we want them to LOVE it!!!
