Based on the classic 1980's computer game, The 6th Annual Oregon Trail® Game has gone virtual! The run take runners/walkers/bikers on a cross-country adventure from Missouri to Oregon, over mountains and across rivers, and to their final destination - Oregon City! Our virtual challenge is also an educational journey! Earn virtual badges and unlock fun facts about historic places as you hit distance milestones along the way! But can you make it to Oregon or will you die of dysentery? Each decision along the trail will determine your ultimate fate.
Course:
The Oregon Trail® Game 5K was a fun yet challenging courses through historic Downtown Oregon City but this year, you can do this run from ANYWHERE! Virtually run, walk, bike, swim your way through the Oregon Trail Game. Use a smart device to enter your exercise or enter it manually. Get up, get moving, and don't die of a snake bite!
Run, walk, bike, roller blade, kayak, paddle, or swim (or any combination) anywhere, anytime from April 2021 to April 2022 to complete your challenge. Choose a shorter version of the Oregon Trail, commit to a longer challenge, or take on both!
Miles done on workout equipment can count towards your challenge - just enter them manually or with your smart device. Make sure to follow current social distancing precautions as you get fit and give back!
