Cambodian Liaison 5K

This race is being held to raise money for our newly hired Cambodian liaison, Sokha, who will be relaying information between Banyan Tree Clinics and healthcare providers at Srae Sdok Clinic. Some of her other roles and responsibilities include organizing community events at the Koh Broteal School, purchasing supplies for these activities, and communicating with the Banyan Tree Clinics’ board members. Sokha is an excellent addition to our team and we look forward to deepening our connection to the Srae Sdok community through her.  

Banyan Tree Clinics is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization (EIN 86-2060526) dedicated to improving health outcomes for rural Cambodians. Please support our efforts in raising funds for our Cambodia Liaison by joining our Virtual 5K run starting August 17th at 9 AM!  Donations of any amount are appreciated as the proceeds will go towards supporting our Cambodian Liaison and expand our reach and services within the Pursat Province. Even a $15 donation will support our liaison to work for a day, and $500 supports our liaison for one month!  Donors that contribute $100 or more to our cause will receive a free Banyan Tree Clinics boba jar!

A virtual 5K (3.1 miles), is a race that can take place from any location you choose. You can run, jog, roll, or walk on the road, on the trail, on the treadmill, at the gym, or on the track. You get to run your own race and at your own pace! This event is open to people of all ages and abilities.
