We had such a great time bringing you the 2019 event, we're going to do it again. Tell all your friends what great time you had and send them in to another great that keeps you in good athletic condition.
As we enter our 7th year, we are more excited than ever to present the Capital FC Half Marathon, 10k, and 5k runs. The race begins at Capital FC’s Soccer Complex in East Salem. You’ll enjoy running along the abandoned rail-line behind the fields, over the railroad bridge, and through the rolling hills and scenic farmland of the beautiful Willamette Valley. The half-marathon is a certified 13.1 miles for those of you who take your running seriously! Every finisher will receive a finisher's medal.
Live music and free local craft beer await you on the other side of that finish line. Whether it’s the first time you’ve crossed a finish line or the 20th, the race is a celebration of personal achievement and grit.
All this for a good cause, benefitting Capital Fútbol Club, Salem’s non-profit youth soccer club. This organization and events like this make it possible to provide over $100,000 every year to provide opportunities for young people to be active and learn the life lessons that athletics and teamwork have to teach.
Early packet pickup is available on Friday June 5th at Gallagher Fitness, 135 Commercial St. NE, Salem OR 97301, from 2pm to 6pm.
Packet pickup is also available before the race from 6am to 7:45am.
