Description

Form a Team! Compete!  Win Big!

Adults with autism and other neurodivergent individuals often have to overcome many obstacles in life, especially when it comes to finding a job and learning how to live independently. When you're on your own, these challenges can seem insurmountable -- but with a supportive team like The ACRES Project on your side, anything is possible!

It's in that spirit that we are excited to announce The ACRES Project Amazing Race! This challenge-packed outdoor competition and fundraiser will be held at  beautiful Tussey Mountain Resort rain or shine. Registered teams of two and four will tackle a gauntlet of fun trials as they compete to win amazing prizes, all while supporting our mission to help local adults with autism overcome challenges and achieve their employment goals.

In the run-up to the event, registered teams are encouraged to create a team fundraiser and raise additional funding for The ACRES Project. The team with the highest fundraising total wins the our grand prize: a 7-day beach getaway to Mariott's Barony Beach Club Resort on Hilton Head Island!* March 7 - March 14!  Yes that is Spring Break!

With 80% of our annual funding provided by private donations and fundraisers like the Amazing Race, we hope that you'll save September 15th on your calendar, assemble your all-star team, and make a commitment to support neurodivergent adults in Happy Valley.

*Travel not included. Trip must be taken from March 7 - March 14.

Participants will wear our 2024 race T shirts through out the whole race.
