The Arc's Run, Walk, or Click! Virtual Event

It's time to go green for Mental Health Awareness Month!

In May 2021, The Arc is excited to invite you to our "Run, Walk or Click" events to raise funds for Behavior Support Services.

As we come together (virtually, of course!) we welcome you to help The Arc to raise funds for our Behavior Support Services as they strive to assist persons with IDD to develop positive approaches to address challenging behavior. Through behavior support, those we serve are empowered to live and work in their community! The Arc will participate in Centre Gives (a 36 hour online fundraising event) and The Arc will host a virtual fun "Run, Walk or Click" event  in May, culminating on May 29-30th.  Join in the fun or simply make a donation – it all helps our agency to enhance our services and promote our mission!

Participate at any location, any time, and at any pace at the distance of your choice (5K run or a 2 mile walk). You can walk, jog, use the treadmill, run outside, or run on a trail.  You can do your virtual run/walk at any time from May 1 to May 30 and upload your results to this page and see how you stacked up to other participants.  We also encourage participants to share photos of themselves wearing their t-shirt and/or walking, running, or clicking -- to be featured on our Facebook and Instagram pages!

All proceeds from this event will help to support Behavior Support Services in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month.  At signup, participants will have the option to make an additional donation, if they desire.  All participants/donors who sign up before 5/12/21 will receive a t-shirt with The Arc's Run, Walk, or Click! logo.  T-shirts will be available for pickup at The Arc office on Friday, May 28 from 9:00a to 6:00p.  Participants/donors who are not local may choose to have their t-shirt shipped to them.
