PACCSA Kind-a-hard Cross Country Ski Race

Race HQ: Laurel Mountain Warming Hut, Laurel Summit Rd, Boswell, PA 15531.  This has internet. 

Start & finish location: approximately 20 yards from Summit R, on Interstate trail

The trailhead is on Summit Rd, on the right if heading away from 30), after the road leading to Laurel Mountain  downhill resort and before the nordic ski warming hut.  The closest parking lot is on the left, on the other side of the road.  

Format: individual start 5km classic ski race.  Skiers separated by 30 seconds, starting at 9am.  The mass start kids race at 11am does not need timing, it will use the same start & finish location.

Awards: We need to give awards for the first 3 places overall and first place in each age group for male, female and non-binary skiers.  The age groups will use 10y brackets.  There will also be awards for the first 3 places in the youth age group (up to 17y).  There is a 4th category (‘I don’t want to say’) which will not receive awards.  We aim to give the awards at 11:30am.

Registration online closes the day before the event.  What time does the timer need the start list and entry data?

Day-of registration is in person and closes at 8:30am.  PACCSA can bring paper forms to the start location in batches as they are received.  The warming hut does have good internet service.
