Trick or Trot 5k

The Lion Foundation and Camp Hill Run Club invite you to join us for the Trick or Trot 5k and Monster Dash 1 Mile Fun Run! The 5k will begin at 9:00 am and the Monster Dash will begin at 10:00 am. This is a family friendly event; all ages are welcome to participate. All proceeds benefit The Lion Foundation’s Earl Besch Fund – supporting students and families facing economic hardship. Race Details

Date – Saturday, November 2, 2024

Location – Corner of S. 22nd Street and Dickinson Ave., Camp Hill PA

Race Swag:

PLEASE NOTE: Deadline for t-shirt has passed. All youth finishers will receive a custom medal. We may have extra shirts, but they are not guaranteed.  

Registration includes a Trick or Trot t-shirt for 5k only.  

All participants must register for the 5k by 10/4/2024 to be guaranteed a t-shirt. 

Packet Pickup:

We encourage everyone to pick up their packet (bib, shirt, etc.) on Friday afternoon at Hoover Elementary School. (The school’s Fall Fest will be going on at the same time.) If you cannot make it on Friday, you can pick up at the start line on Saturday morning.

• Friday, November 1, 4-7 p.m., Hoover Elementary School (420 S 24th St, Camp Hill, PA 17011)
  • Pickup is in the library. Enter through the main entrance of the school and it will be on the left.

• Saturday, November 2, 7:30-8:45 a.m., 22nd and Dickinson, Camp Hill, PA

Bib numbers will be assigned at packet pickup.

Race Day Registration:     

Available from 7:30-8:45am. 

$25 Trick or Trot 5k

$10 Monster Dash

Cash Only!

Other Important Details:

• Jogging strollers are permitted in our race
• Dogs are NOT permitted in our race
• Parents are encouraged to join their child(ren) for the 1 mile Monster Dash
• This is a rain or shine event, NO REFUNDS!  

Chip Timing:

This event is being chip timed by Wolf Creek Race Management. The start & finish will be chip timed so your time does not start until you cross the line.

The Earl Besch Fund:

Earl Besch (1926-2015) was a long time resident of Camp Hill Borough, who was known for his generosity to others. Earl would regularly reach out to the schools to see if there were families in need. He would offer to buy a bike, a winter coat, pay for camp enrollment or maybe purchase them a Christmas present. In 2015, his family established a memorial fund in his name to continue his legacy of caring. The Earl Besch Fund at The Lion Foundation provides others an opportunity to help those less fortunate in our community through donations to this fund.
