Description
Come out and join the Steel City Road Runners on the Panhandle trail for a no frills, low-key timed race on one of Western Pennsylvania’s most scenic rails to trails. Proceeds from the race will benefit the Collier Friends of the Panhandle for trail maintenance and improvements.
This is a family affair! We will have a Mini Rock the Quarry Kids Run, a fun 1K run recommended for children grades K-6. Parents/guardians may participate with their child at no additional fee. Junior SCRR members are free, please contact info@steelcityrrc.org for details.
Race number pick-up and race day registration will be available on Saturday, August 29, 2014 starting at 8:00 AM. Kids run will begin at 8:30 AM and 5K and 9:00 AM. We'll meet at the Walkers Mill entrance of the Panhandle Trail; parking is available near the trail entrance.
