On Saturday August 17th in Conyngham, PA we kick off the 38th Annual C.H.H.I.P.S. Trot 'N Brew! RAIN OR SHINE!!!!

This event is held in memory of Rocco Colangelo Sr. & Jr. All proceeds raised will benefit the Helping Hands Society! 

THE HELPING HANDS SOCIETY
The Helping Hands Society is a non-profit organization for special needs and typical children in Luzerne, Carbon, and Schuylkill Counties. Teachers and therapists work with children from birth to elementary age that have developmental delays and learning disabilities. The Helping Hands Society welcomes all children and never turns their back on those families that cannot afford the developmental therapies they need. Instead, the organization relies on the generosity of the public to assist in helping our community's children succeed in life, in and out of the classroom.

WHAT IS A “TROT ‘N BREW”?

A 1.5 mile novelty race through the streets of Conyngham, PA. Competitors must run, walk, or crawl into each of the 6 designated bars along the race course, purchase a 25 cent draft beer and continue to the finish line. All competitors must be 21 or over, must wear shirts, and carry 6 quarters for purchase of the refreshments. A government issued ID is required for registration.

I DO NOT DRINK BEER, CAN I STILL ENTER?
YES! You can substitute soft drinks.
