Run Santa Run 5K - Cranberry Twp.

The 2024 GCXC Santa Triple Sleigh is a jolly opportunity for Pittsburgh Runners to run (or walk) three 5K races over 8 days and earn an incredible bonus CHALLENGE MEDAL after the 3rd race.

The Triple Sleigh includes all three PA Run Sana Run events:

1. Run Santa Run Oakdale at Helicon Brewing - Sunday, Dec 8, 2024
2. Run Santa Run Cranberry Township at Graham Park - Saturday, Dec 14, 2024
3. Run Santa Run South Park at the Fairgrounds - Sunday, Dec 15, 2024

• ONLY THOSE WHO USE THE BUNDLE TILE WILL BE ELIGIBLE. 
  • REGISTERING FOR ALL 3 RACES SEPARATELY WILL NOT COUNT.

And the opportunity to participate in the SANTA TRIPLE SLEIGH SCORING CHALLENGE

Participants who register for the challenge will also be able to compete for the title of TRIPLE SLEIGH CHALLENGE CHAMPION.  We will award the top 3 male and female participants after the South Park race on December 15th.   

HOW DOES THE SCORING WORK

• Participants will earn points based on their finish time order at each of the 3 events.
• Scores will be determined solely by chip time and non-participants will not receive scores.
  • NOTE:  This may differ slightly from individual event results. At individual events the top 3 overall male and female results are determined by who crosses the line first. 
• Points will be awarded to the top 15 male and female challenge finishers, based on their chip time.
  • 15 points for first, 14 for second, 13 for third, and so forth down to 1 point for 15th.
• Total points accumulated from all three events will be tallied after the South Park race to determine winners.
• The top 3 male and female challenge participants will receive awards and the top male and female will be crowned Triple Sleigh Champions.

5K AND THE JOLLY MILE participants will receive a soft and comfy pair of Run Santa Run fleece pajama pants, a Santa hat, a Santa "cinch" backpack, and a custom finishers medal 

KIDS' REINDEER RAMBLE  participants will take home a new reindeer friend and a finisher medal. 

Once again, GCXC is proud to support Amachi Pittsburgh.  Amachi Pittsburgh raises awareness and delivers services to give children a fighting chance in Allegheny County-- when the community is knowledgeable about the challenges that they face, children have the support they need to thrive. This awareness creates policy-level change so that youth are unburdened from a system that has made them more vulnerable to the criminal justice system.

Please help us support Amachi and bring an unwrapped toy for a child aged infant through 18 years old.  These gifts will be distributed to children throughout the county during December and hopefully bring them a sense of support and joy during the holiday season.
