CCTI SkillsUSA 5K Run/Walk

America needs more skilled tradesmen and vocational workers!   

Join the 7th Annual CCTI SkillsUSA 5K Run/Walk on the beautiful (and knee friendly) Lehigh Gorge Multi-Use Trail.  This race will benefit the best-of-the-best of Carbon County's vocational high school students by raising money for competition, travel and lodging.  Qualifying students will travel to the SkillsUSA State Leadership Conference in Hershey PA and the prestigious SkillsUSA National Finals competitions in Louisville, KY.  Last year, Carbon Career & Technical Institute qualified an amazing 8 students to the National Finals, with 3 bringing home the GOLD! This year, we expect even more of our students to qualify for the State and National competitions, and we want to make sure every one of them can travel to the competition.

Awards:

• First Overall Male 
• First Overall Female
• Gender-specific age groups: 1-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
• 5K Walk Awards (Olympic-style speed walking):  Top 3 finishers

Strollers and/or leashed pets are welcome at the SkillsUSA 5K Run/Walk!

Prices:

• Runners & Walkers $25 in advance ($30 day-of)
• Students (age 5-18) $15 in advance ($20 day-of)
• Children 4 & under, no charge (no shirt, but must register for insurance purposes), strollers welcome.
• Free Long-Sleeve "Tech" shirt for all paid entries received through September 27!
