TLC Rescue's Pandemic Pop-Up for Pups

Welcome to TLC Rescue’s Pandemic Pop-Up for Pups!!

Our FIRST ever Virtual 5k Pop-Up Run benefiting the pups who still need saving!  While we can’t congregate in groups currently, we can still come together as a virtual community and enjoy fun, fitness, social togetherness & DOGS!!  

This is a great opportunity to start training or log a personal “Time to Beat” for our 6th Annual Miles for Mutts event in October!  (Stay tuned for more info!)

Whether you choose to run, walk or you're just in it for the T-Shirt, you'll be saving lives!  Your $25 has endless possibilities from feeding a foster dog for a week, covering the cost of a vaccination for a puppy, offering a week of Heartworm treatment to a dog who may not be rescued otherwise, or supplying a pregnant momma dog with the supplies she needs to whelp a brand new litter of puppies.  

ALL proceeds benefit TLC Rescue’s life saving mission to give dog's in need a better tomorrow.  Despite the pandemic, TLC Rescue is continuing to save as many lives as we possibly can.  We’ve been going to great lengths to ensure we’re staying safe & socially distanced, while recognizing these pups need our help more than ever!

How does it work:

The Pandemic Pop-Up for Pups is a VIRTUAL 5k that you can complete anytime between June 1st & June 30th!  

• Register for the Pandemic Pop-Up for Pups between now & June 15th at 11:59pm.
• Consider being a fundraiser for TLC / dedicating your race to your favorite pup or a TLC adoptable pup!
• Complete a 5K (3.1 Miles) run/walk(s) any time between June 1st & June 30th!  
  • No need to complete the entire 5k at once!  You can break it up any way you choose -- Race to compete for the best 5k time, try running with your dog, go for three 1 mile runs, add up the mileage from all of your dog walks, etc.
  • To our serious runners who are already running marathons / half marathons - consider dedicating your first or last 3.1 miles to the pups of TLC Rescue!
• Send us your results on our online form (your confirmation email will include instructions) 
• Post your pics on social media!  We want to see photos of you and your pets on your walk &/or run!

Where is this race?

This is a Virtual 5k, so you can complete your race when and where you choose!  In your neighborhood, at a local park, at the school track, running in the yard with your dog as he fetches, the possibilities are endless!!

Tell me about the Swag!

Just for registering, you will receive a Limited Edition 2020 TLC Pandemic Pop Up T-Shirt in Heather Grey with Teal print.  All T-shirts will ship by June 20th.  There will also be the option for contact-free pickup at our adoption center in Malvern the weekend of June 20th - 21st.  Registrants will be emailed if the pickup option is selected.

Can't run?  Consider donating to help support TLC Rescue's mission to save more lives.  This race benefits the pups of TLC Rescue, who still need saving regardless of this pandemic.  We’ve found homes for almost 250 dogs since the shelter-in-place orders began mid-march, and more than 3,500+ since our inception in 2013.
