Description

Join us for the THIRD Annual Stone Hill Meadows Community Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Morning! Get a festive start to your holiday while we raise funds for local charities.

This course will take advantage of our beautiful paths, which means there will be some hills! Course map to follow.

Here's the timing for the morning:

  • 7:30-8:20: Packet/Shirt Pickup
  • 8:30: 5K Run/Walk Start
  • 9:30: Kids' Run Start
  • 9:45: Awards

This is a fun run with our neighbors, NOT a timed race. However, there will be awards for most festive attire and farthest traveled. So don your best turkey gear and have tell your relatives who will be visiting to join us!

Shirts are available for an additional cost--this means that if you don't want a shirt, you don't have to pay for it! Shirts must be ordered by November 19, 2024.

FAQ

FAQ

  • Is this a timed race?

No, this isn't a timed race. This is just an organized fun run with our neighbors to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday... we're all thankful for great neighbors!

  • Can I bring my dog/cat who likes to run/pet iguana?

We love our neighborhood pets. However, pets should stay home for this event. There will be a lot of people and activity, and we don't want our furry friends to get spooked!

  • Are strollers allowed?

Strollers are definitely welcome! However, we ask that you start toward the back of the pack so as to not create an obstacle for anyone running by.

  • Can non-neighborhood residents sign up?

Absolutely! There will be an award for furthest traveled, so tell your family members who will be in town!

  • If it's not a race, why is there an entry fee?

Based on a survey of our neighbors, there was overwhelming support for an entry fee where all proceeds would go to the Second Harvest Food Bank of the Lehigh Valley. It's our way to honor the Thanksgiving holiday!

  • I won't be in town, but I'd love to get a shirt. How do I do that?

You have two options here. You can do the 5K virtually from wherever you are--if you do this, register, order your shirt, and use the contact form to let the event director know you're participating virtually. Your other option is to simply reach out to the event director and ask about ordering a shirt.
