Pocono FoxTrot 5K for Parkinson's Research

The 7th annual Pocono FoxTrot 5K Walk/Run and 1 Mile Community Walk for Parkinson's Research, hosted by Tri-State Parkinson's Project, will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2022. Registration begins at 8:30 AM, rain or shine, at Ann Street Park in beautiful downtown Milford, PA. Opening Ceremonies begin at 9:45 AM!  The 5K race kicks off at 10 AM!   

Awards will be presented for:

5K Runners/Walkers

• Overall male, first place

• Overall female, first place
  

• Female 17 years old and under: first, second, and third place

• Male 17 years old and under: first, second, and third place

• Female 18 - 29 years old: first, second, and third place

• Male 18 - 29 years old: first, second, and third place

• Female 30 - 39 years old: first, second and third place

• Male 30 - 39 years old: first, second and third place

• Female 40 - 49 years old: first, second and third place

• Male 40 - 49 years old: first, second and third place

• Female 50 - 59 years old: first, second and third place

• Male 50-59 years old: first, second and third place

• Female 60-69 years old; first, second and third place

• Male 60-69 years old: first second and third place

• Female 70 (+) years old: first, second and third place

• Male 70 (+) years old: first, second and third place

1 Mile Community Walk - medals to first three over finish line, no chips! This is more for fun!

Join us immediately after completion of both events for our award presentation. Post race "snack" bags will be provided to all participants.   We will have a live entertainment by "Sage" in the park to contribute to an upbeat race day atmosphere!  Additionally, the Milford Fire Department has stepped in and offered to grill hot dogs and hamburgers for attendees!  We love seeing everyone gather each year, enjoying a picnic and supporting our Parkinson's Warriors! 

We are excited to AGAIN welcome the DeLorean Mid-Atlantic Club to our event!  They are continuing to help us support Michael J. Fox and promote our "Back To The Future - Where Parkinson's Does Not Exist" theme!  They will be on hand with a few of the iconic cars for the public to view! 

We will continue our resource fair as we are committed to community education about Parkinson's Disease, particularly national and local resources that are available to Parkinson's warriors and their care partners. Please plan to stop by and talk to those representing these wonderful services! 

Our 6th annual Pocono FoxTrot 5K held in 2021 donated $30,000 to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research and the Tri-State Parkinson's Project retained $6000 - to use toward community education and programming.  So, in total, 2021 raised $36,000 in approximately 10 weeks!  THANK YOU!  That brought us to a five year total of $243,000! This year, we have set a goal of $50,000!  Funds raised will again support The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.  Your participation and generosity will also DIRECTLY support the Tri-State Parkinson's Project.  A portion of funds raised will be directed to support special programs that can dramatically improve life for Parkinson's patients.
