The Mountain of Hope Trail Challenge Half Marathon is a run/hike/walk through the mountains of Central Pennsylvania. It begins with a 5 mile uphill climb over trails, old log roads and through boulder fields. Once at the top the trail will continue to wind through the mountains providing several scenic views overlooking the beautiful Amish farm country nestled in East Nittany Valley before beginning your decent down the mountain. Come prepared for steep hills and rocky terrain. The 5K will be 1 mile of uphill incline before winding through wooded trails and then heading to the finish line. Elevation Change - Almost 3,000 feet of Elevation Change
6 hour cut-off on timing of the event

Registration Fee
Until August 31
$35 - 5k      $50 - Half Marathon
September 1 and after
$40 - 5k      $55 - Half Marathon

The race is capped at 500 participants
No refund or transfers for this event

Race Shirt - You must be registered by September 15th to be guaranteed a wick race t-shirt.
We will not be sending any shirts to participants who do not attend the event.

Location - The Mountain of Hope Trail Challenge is on private property located at 455 S. Ridge Lane, Mill Hall, PA. Exit 178 off I-80. Go 1 mile & take the Mackeyville/Rote Exit. Turn right onto Auction Road towards Rote. (past Central PA Auto Auction). From 220 south, take Mackeyville/Rote Exit. Turn right onto Auction Road toward Rote. Watch for signs. 

Aid Stations - 2 Aid stations with snacks, water and gatorade and first aid plus 2 additional water stations
will be available for the half marathon. 1 water station will be available for the 5k.

Meal - including BBQ Pork Sandwiches or BBQ Chicken and sides will be provided for all paid participants. You will receive a meal ticket with your packet.

All proceeds from the Mountain of Hope Trail Challenge will benefit Sharing Hope Ministries (www.sharinghopeministries.org)
