Since sponsors have underwritten all the event costs, 100% of your registration or donation goes directly to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) of Eastern PA.
All around us we have seen friends, family members & colleagues battle various cancers. “Constructing A Cure” is a team of volunteers that have come together to raise funds for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) of Eastern PA through Ron Jerdon’s LLS Man/Woman of the Year Campaign.
LLS exists to find cures and ensure access to treatments for blood cancer patients. They are the voice for all blood cancer patients and work to ensure access to treatments for all blood cancer patients.
LLS identifies and funds the most promising blood cancer research projects and forges partnerships with academic institutions, biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies to accelerate the development of new therapies.
LLS is the leading source of free, highly specialized blood cancer information, education and support for patients, survivors, families and healthcare professionals. They advocate for blood cancer survivors and their families, helping patients navigate their cancer treatments and ensuring they have access to quality, affordable and coordinated care.
LLS recognizes that finding cures is not enough; we need to ensure that patients have access to the treatments, services and providers they need to live longer, better, healthier lives. LLS is dedicated to removing barriers to care. By providing a network of advocates, a powerful voice, the Policy and Advocacy Team, drives policies that accelerate the development and approval of innovative treatments and ensure that patients have sustainable access to quality, affordable coordinated care. The LLS team is committed to ensuring that patients have access to adequate network of providers and services and are protected from high out-of-pocket costs that limit access to life-saving treatments.

Legacy signs honor every life that has been touched by cancer. You can donate one on behalf of a lost loved one, someone currently in the battle, or someone who has overcome it! These signs can have a picture of your loved one, their name, inspirational thought or memorable quote. These signs will be displayed along the courses and will be a motivation and reminder of the purpose of our efforts. Plus, they will be yours to keep following the event.
Your donation will help save lives, empower people and give hope through LLS and its mission.
