Sports Management students in the SMGT 601 Sports & Event Planning and Management capstone course, under the direction of Dr. Robert Zullo, are hosting the first ever virtual "Walk a Mile in Her Shoes” event. The walk was previously held on campus by students in the major in spring 2018 and was slated for spring 2020 before Covid disrupted the event. Walk a Mile in Her Shoes is a one mile walk to support the Crisis Shelter of Lawrence County. The unique virtual event format is open to all to participate in their towns, on their treadmills, at their tracks and beyond from April 11 to May 8. Registration is $15 and includes a race t-shirt. Registration will take place online and is open the whole month of April through May 1st, allowing time for shirts to be mailed as necessary. Contact Collin Kelly at firstname.lastname@example.org or Ben Romah at email@example.com for additional details.
