Ready, set, go!

The National Blood Clot Alliance is celebrating our 5th annual Race to Stop the Clot® Fun Run in recognition of World Thrombosis Day!

The Race to Stop the Clot® Fun Run is a virtual walk/run and fundraiser, with options to complete a 10K, 5K, or 1 mile course of your choosing anytime from October 11-14. Take your support one step further and sign up to help fundraise! All proceeds support the National Blood Clot Alliance (NBCA) and are 100% tax-deductible.

Registration Options:

  • 10K, 5K, and 1 Mile includes a digital race bib, digital finisher certificate, fun challenges and prizes for top fundraisers, and ways to connect with your fellow runners.
  • Receive a 20% family discount when you register 4+ people.
  • Add-On options for all registrants include the option to purchase a custom Fun Run Swag at check-out or make an additional donation.
  • Complimentary race registration will be automatically applied to anyone who makes an additional donation of $100+ during check out.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Register and consider fundraising to help support NBCA programs
  2. Run or walk your selected race distance any time between October 11 and October 14
  3. Report your race time on the results page

When can I order Fun Run Swag? Fun Run Swag is available at shop.stoptheclot.org. Fun Run Swag ordered after October 1st is not guaranteed to arrive by October 11th. Areas affected by Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton may cause a delay in delivery.

How does my donation help? All donations benefit the National Blood Clot Alliance (NBCA), a 501(c)(3), non-profit, voluntary health organization dedicated to advancing the prevention, early diagnosis and successful treatment of life-threatening blood clots such as deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism. NBCA is the only nonprofit organization in the United States focused singularly on building awareness and community among people who are affected by blood clots or at increased risk for blood clots, including people with clotting disorders, atrial fibrillation, cancer, traumatic injury, and risks related to hospitalization and surgery, lengthy immobility, childbirth, and hormonal birth control.
