SLA Road To Glory 5k 2026

Welcome to the first annual Sla Road To Glory 5k. This race was at one point called the sla anyway 5k which was started as a virtual race in 2021 by SLA alumni Ethan Chen, the AnyWay 5k was a way to help spread his passion for running with the SLA community. We are continuing his legacy by holding an in person 5k in addition to the virtual event! 

No matter if you are part of or outside of the SLA community, everyone is welcome to join in on our race. All registrations, donations, and profits made from this race will directly be given to SLA Home and School to support the SLA community and this race. We would like to thank Braskem for sponsoring this event and making this all possible!  

You can use any kind of tracking device for the virtual race. Apps like Strava and Runkeeper work well. 

The deadline for ordering shirts is April 1st. The pickup date for shirts is Tuesday April 19th and Friday April 22nd, 3:15 - 4:30 pm, at 1482 Green St. (SLA@CC). 

How this event works

This year's race will consist of an in person event and a virtual event. 

The SLA Road To Glory 5k will take place

Options:

1). Free Entry (Virtual)

Includes: 

• Entry into the SLA AnyWay 5k virtual event
• Finisher medal 
• Choosing this option lets us know that you will not be attending the in person event.

2). Free Entry (In-Person)

Includes: 

• Entry into the SLA AnyWay 5k in-person event
• Finisher medal 

3). T-shirt and Medal Entry (In-Person): 

Includes: 

• Entry into the SLA AnyWay 5k in-person event
• Finisher medal 
• SLA Anyway 5k T-shirt  

4). T-shirt and Medal Entry (Virtual): 

Includes:

• Entry into the SLA AnyWay 5k virtual event
• Finisher Medal
• SLA Anyway 5k T-Shirt
• Choosing this option lets us know that you will not be attending the in person event
