Paula's Pride 5K Family Run|Walk

WHO~WHAT~WHY: Join Amy Medvec and her Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Man & Woman of the Year fundraising campaign team, Paula's Pride, as they raise funds in honor of her mother, Paula, who passed away in 2014 to blood cancer. Amy is hoping to bring awareness to blood cancer and to raise funds in support of the LLS's mission to find cures for blood cancers and to assist patients and families as they battle this disease. Amy hopes this 5K family friendly run|walk will become an annual event to keep her mother's legacy alive and to continue to raise funds for the LLS.

WHEN: Thursday, April 28th, 2022 (Paula's Birthday❤️). With the race being virtual, you can choose to complete the 3.1 miles at the time that is most convenient to you! You will officially have an entire week, from April 23rd-April 30th, to participate.

WHERE: This 5K will be a virtual event in the hopes that wherever you may be located, near or far, you will join us as we come together to move in honor of Paula and for all those effected by blood cancer. There will be an option to join Amy and participate live with her family + friends on April 28th in the South Hills of Pittsburgh, so stay tuned for more details! No matter where you may be participating, we'd love to have you snap a picture and share it on your social networks using #TeamPaulasPride!

COST: $20 entry fee, which includes an official Paula's Pride 5K race t-shirt. Please register every family member that plans to participate. The more people involved, the greater the impact! 100% of the proceeds will be donated to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, a 501(c) (3) non profit organization.

*Registration will be open until the last day of the race, Saturday, April 30th. Delivery of your t-shirt will not be guaranteed for race week if you register after April 14th. You will still receive a t-shirt if you register after April, 14th, but you may not have your t-shirt for race week.*
