Hope Travels Virtual 5K & 50-Mile Challenge

Wed September 30 - Sat December 12

Walk, run, roll, or ride this fall on behalf of the nonprofit Help Hope Live to ensure that hope is not cancelled for families facing financial hardship due to a medical crisis.

Now, more than ever, our clients are facing increased health concerns, isolation, and economic hardship. Our nonprofit has organized the Hope Travels Virtual 5K and 50-Mile Challenge to help raise critically needed funds and safely connect our clients to their communities of support.

We challenge you to go the distance for our cause (from a distance!) by logging 50 miles of activity indoors or outdoors from September 30 through November 30 (extended until) Dec 12th or by competing in our virtual 5K  or both!

Hope Travelers can participate as an individual or team and are encouraged to raise funds on behalf of a Help Hope Live client or in support of our COVID-19 Relief Fund.

Now is the time to unite our communities and stay connected while so many of us are feeling isolated. During this pandemic, we have certainly learned that we are all in this together, and together we can make sure those living with catastrophic medical conditions do not fall through the cracks.

With more than 3,000 clients across all 50 states, we anticipate that hope will travel far this fall with the potential to reach thousands of people nationwide!

Registration opens September 21 and closes December 12th! .

Every year we help hope live for more than 3000 families who depend on our services. They are all facing catastrophic medical conditions.. and they run.. they run every day from doctor to doctor.. from therapy to treatments – from prayer to holding onto hope. They run …They run not by choice, but because they do not have a choice. So to honor them, we need people to build a community of support—to show we care  and  literally ‘run’ a 5K, to honor them.

HOPE is what our families run on.... HOPE is NOT Canceled!

Healthcare is EXPENSIVE! Not just the cost of insurance, or the co-pays or the deductibles but caregivers, wheelchairs, ramps, adaptive vehicles, medications, and relocation, just to name a few. Our families do NOT have a choice when it comes to medical needs, their expenses are life sustaining.

Since 1983, we have raised over 150 Million to cover medical needs. Just last year, Help Hope Live provided over 6.1 Million in direct support for medical expenses, over $800,000. for caregiver services, made over 140 transplants possible and JUST this past summer made 23 transplants possible!

YOU and people like you are the reason all of this is possible. The need is growing! We now are determined to help COVID survivors.

We will return to normal.. but for our families, this IS their normal. Run, Walk, Ride, Roll...sign up and show our families

HOPE TRAVELS far and wide!
