Description
The Buffalo Township Parks and Recreation Committee is hosting the 9th annual Veterans Day Race on the Butler-Freeport Community Trail on Saturday November 7, 2020. Race starts promptly at 9:00 AM.
This will be the last race of 2020 on the Trail! This section of the Butler-Freeport Community Trail is a combination of asphalt and crushed limestone, following Little Buffalo Creek as it joins Buffalo Creek on its way to the Allegheny River.
The 10K and 5K race course is certified, and starts/finishes at the Monroe Road trailhead (heading south). The 2 Mile Fun Run / Walk also starts/finishes at the Monroe Road trailhead (heading north). Race timing service for 10K and 5K races will be done by Runner’s High Timing Service. 2 mile fun run/walk will have verbal finish time only. Wheelchair Athlete Class will be included in 10K and 5K races.
Entry Cost:
10K and 5K Races - $25.00; late entry $30.00 after Oct 30
2 Mile Fun Run/Walk – $20.00; late entry $25.00 after Oct 30
Family Discount - $5.00 off per child age 17 or younger

Awards: Top three male and female medals and Age Group Certificate Awards for both 10K and 5K in both Runners and Wheelchair Classes (age groups:14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 +)
