Description
The second annual Central Bucks Kids Run will be held on Saturday, May 16th, at Central Bucks High School South. This event is open to all Central Bucks students in kindergarten through sixth grade. This is a FUN, all-inclusive, kids-only event where students of all ability levels are encouraged to run, jog, and walk with their peers to enjoy a GREAT day of racing. The run will take place completely on the closed grounds of Central Bucks High School South where students will run on the parking lot and driveways. Students from all fifteen elementary schools will be competing in this event, therefore students will be grouped based on their current grade level. All participants will earn a HUGE CB Kids Run medal for completing the race. Awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers in each grade level. Come out, HAVE FUN, and enjoy the CB Kids Run!

CB Kids Run – Frequently Asked Questions!
Can athletes use scooters, roller blades, or skateboards during the race?
• No, only running, jogging, or walking is permitted during the race.
Do I need to stay at the race the entire time my child is participating?
• All participants must have a parent or guardian present during their race.
What is a rolling start and how does it work?
• A rolling start is when runners start a race as individuals or in small groups (not
a mass start).
How long will my child’s race take?
• The run should take under 20 minutes to complete.

Race Supplies
- Sneakers
- Wear a T-shirt representing your school
- Water bottle for before the race if needed
- Parents – signs and noise makers to cheer your runner on!
Race Start
The race will start with runners getting into corrals based on their grade levels. The corrals will start the race
every three minutes to spread runners out on the course. Sixth grade will start the race first, and kindergarten
will start the race last.
Race Spectating
Family and friends are welcome to see the race along the course in South’s rear parking lot.
