On Sep 10th, 2023, Drishti Foundation is organizing a 5K or 1mile run/walk at Wilson Farm Park, Wayne, PA to support blind and visually impaired children in collaboration with Royer-Greaves School for Blind, Paoli, PA, and the American Council of the Blind (ACB). The event includes a virtual section as well.
ACB will aim to award college scholarship to a Pennsylvania resident, or to any blind student who meets ACB’s qualifications. Royer-Greaves will focus on vocational programming for the individuals served. Runners will be provided bib tags with chips for automated and instantaneous race timing.

Drishti Foundation is a section 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Your contributions can be tax deductible and also employer-matched.
Drishti is founded and run by High School and Middle School students who believe in Kathy Calvin's words, “Giving is not just about making a donation. It is about making a difference”. This foundation aims at instilling a sense of giving in children and adults alike.
Since its inception, Drishti has organized fundraisers for causes such as Cataract surgeries for the underprivileged, scholarships for the blind, and medical care for visually impaired children. During the Covid-19 pandemic, Drishti has raised funds and sent medical equipment to impacted communities including schools for the handicapped. Some of the organizations that Drishti volunteers have worked with include Chester County Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired, Royer- Greaves School for the Blind, Vision Corps, American Council for the Blind, Children’s Eye Foundation, Overbrook School for the Blind, and the Society for the Blind.
