Description
The Tioga County Homeless Initiative is sponsoring a 5K for runners, walkers, and bike riders. The course is a flat, hard-packed gravel surface. Runners and walkers will travel 5K and bike riders will travel 7 miles. Bib pick up runs from 8:00 am to 8:45 am the morning of race.
Medals for the Overall Male and Female 5K finishers and First, Second, and Third Place 5K finishers in each age category. Ribbons for bike rider participants. T-Shirts available if register by August 25th.
We are not just a homeless shelter; in addition to providing a warm, safe, caring environment for those experiencing homelessness, we also connect our guests with services, i.e. housing, employment, counseling, to enable them to live and thrive on their own.
