After the success of the race of the first two Daybreaks, we're excited to move forward with the same format. People did a great job of acting responsibly, social distancing and leaving right after the race was over. This will probably be the last one due to losing light, but you never know.
We are going to run heats of up to 15 people. A heat will go off every 3:00 to allow for adequate social distancing. The first heat will be at 5:45AM. We're going to have a total of 10 heats so we'll limit it to 150 people total. This is going to be a no frills race. We're just experimenting with how to safely get racing back. Please follow the guidelines below to keep everyone safe.

1-There will be no restrooms available.
2-You are responsible for bringing your own water. We will not provide any water stops.
3- All registrations will be done via RunSignup. No cash transactions.
4-Packet pick up will be on race morning starting at 5:30 AM in the alley behind the High Street Parking Garage(Pearl Alley).. . Please wear a mask to number pickup.
5-The streets will not be closed to traffic. You may have to run on the sidewalks at times. The course will be marked but there will be no course marshals. Course Map:
6-The race will start and finish at different locations to insure maximum social distancing.
7-We will have awards for the top 3 men and the top 3 women. We will mail them after the race.
8-The race will be chip timed and the results be at this web-site. There will be start and finish mats.
9-Please do not show up for the race if you have any symptoms of Covid 19.
10-We would encourage you to sign up to run in a heat with your friends.
11-There will be a 35:00 time limit for the 5k.
