West Chester Turkey Trot

Welcome to the 1st Annual West Chester Turkey Trot

Join us on Thanksgiving morning for a live in-person race in downtown West Chester, PA.  We'll follow the very successful Daybreak format from the summer.  

CORRALS:

• In order to allow for adequate social distancing, the West Chester Turkey Trot will be run using corrals limited to 15 people. 
• The first corral will start at 6:45 AM. A new corral will leave every 3 Minutes. 
• We will add more corrals to registration as the early ones begin to fill.
• As you register, make sure you select a corral time.

Please follow the guidelines below to keep everyone safe. 

PRE-RACE INFORMATION: 

• This is going to be a no frills race (No shirts, medals, or other amenities will be offered).  
• There will be no restrooms available.
• Packet pick up will be on race morning starting at 6:15AM AM in the alley behind the High Street Parking Garage(Pearl Alley).
• Please wear a mask to number pickup and wear a mask to the start.
• All registrations will be done via RunSignup.  No cash transactions. 
• Each corral will start precisely on time, please do not be late for your assigned corral. 

DURING RACE INFORMATION: 

• The race will start and finish at different locations to insure maximum social distancing.  
• The streets will not be closed to traffic.  You may have to run on the sidewalks at times.  
• The course will be marked but there will be no course marshals. 

POST-RACE INFORMATION: 

• You are responsible for bringing your own water.  We will not provide any water stops.  There will be no refreshments at the finish.
• We will have awards for the top 3 men and the top 3 women.  We will mail them after the race.
• The race will be chip timed and the results will be at this web-site directly after the race. 

GENERAL GUIDELINES:

• Please do not show up for the race if you have any symptoms of Covid-19.
• We would encourage you to sign up to run in a corral with your friends.  
• There will be a 35:00 time limit for the 5k.  If you will be taking longer than 35:00, please sign up for an early corral.
