Description
This is a race to raise awareness for the teenagers at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. This Girl Scout Gold Award Project addresses all patients of the Children's Hospital, but especially teens, who are often overlooked when donations are made to the Child Life Department. The 5K run/walk will raise both awareness and donations for the teen patients of CHP.
*In addition to the entry fee, it would be appreciated if you could bring a gift donation for the teens at Children's Hospital.*
Examples of Donations are:
Gift cards – i.e. Best-Buy, Toys R Us, Barnes & Noble, Target, Wal-Mart, I-Tunes, etc.
Kits – i.e. craft, model, building
Scrapbooks and accessories
Journals
Board and travel games
Nail polish sets
DVDs, books, magazines, video games
Flip-flops, slippers
Pajama, sweat pants
T-Shirts – all sizes
Table top sports/games – i.e. air hockey, pin ball, etc
Sports – i.e. Steelers, Penguins, college, etc.
