Description
This will be the second annual Thanksgiving Day Williamsport Turkey Trot 5K! Come celebrate turkey day and have fun with a quick run early in the morning! If you're feeling festive, feel free to wear a seasonal outfit to spread the holiday warmth! This is a kid and stroller friendly event. Pets are also welcome! Snacks, water, and music before and after the race. 🍁

The Salvation Army's Food Pantry was chosen as the benefit for event proceeds.
The Salvation Army of Williamsport is here to help local families in Lycoming County with their emergency needs. Often this is food for the table. They understand that money for food is short at certain times during the month or year for all families and their mission is to make sure no one goes hungry, ever! Donations are now being accepted on this race page.
NEW THIS YEAR! Walking division and kids' age groups will be available!
❗️ UPDATE: We will be holding early packet pickup TUESDAY, 11/20 starting at 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Salvation Army location in Williamsport. Address is 457 Market St. and parking will be available in the parking lot of the building or across the street at the James V. Brown Library lot. Pickup will still be available on race morning as well, starting at 7:00 AM.
This race will be held at 1000 Commerce Park Dr. Williamsport PA 17701 (WATER TOWER SQUARE) at 8:30 AM on Thanksgiving Day (11/22/18).
REGISTRATION
→ NOW until midnight on Black Friday (11/24/17), only $15 with no RSU fee! SHIRT IS GUARANTEED.
→ Online registration for $18 will be open from November 25, 2017 until August 1st, 2018. SHIRT IS GUARANTEED.
→ After this date, registration will be increased to $22 with SHIRT GUARANTEE UNTIL NOVEMBER 1st, 2018.
** IF NOT PRE-REGISTERED BY NOVEMBER 1st, 2018 OR SIGNING UP THE DAY BEFORE/DAY OF, YOU WILL NOT BE GUARANTEED A SHIRT. Shirts will be available in a limited quantity for late online registrants (after 11/1) and day of registrants; it will be first come first serve until all shirts are gone. **
→ Day of registration will be $30.
Shirts will be available in S, M, L, XL, and XXL. No youth or gender specific sizing.
PARKING: Parking is available in the large Water Tower Square parking lot.
COURSE: This is a mostly flat, paved course with some small inclines along the way. There is one turn at the beginning, to then follow the bike path. Participants will run/walk 1.55 miles out to the water stop and then make a turn around to run/walk the same way back to the finish.
AWARDS: Medals will be given to the overall top male and female winner as well as the top 3 male and female runners in age categories 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+ in the 5K Run. Medals will also be given to the top 3 overall male and female winners in the 5K Walk.
