Second Annual Noah Compton-Meyer Memorial 5K Run/Walk

The Noah Compton-Meyer Memorial 5K was established to bring people in our community together to celebrate and support children and families of all kinds. The event is in memory of Noah, who spent untold hours running, climbing, biking, and playing in the South Ardmore Park community. Proceeds from the event will be directed to Caring Heart, a nonprofit that provides shelter, education, job training, and support for marginalized women and children in Noah’s birth town of Taraz, Kazakhstan.

The course consists of three 1-mile loops around the park. A 1/2 mile fun run will also be held inside the park prior to the 5K. T-shirts and bibs will be provided to all registrants. 

Refreshments will be available in the park (Northeast of the playground) and a water station will be set up half-way through the course loop. 

The race will be professionally timed by the Bryn Mawr Racing Company; Results can be found at http://www.brynmawrracing.com

Awards will be given to the top finishers in multiple age categories.  The awards ceremony will follow the 5K.
