DESCRIPTION:

The CSY Fall Paws Classic includes a chipped 5K race, Family Fun Run, Food Trucks, and a Vendor and Craft Festival. This event is a fun-filled and energetic experience. The race is held just like a regular 5K, but with food trucks available before, during and after the race as well as vendor and craft exhibitors for just more fun!

 ABOUT OUR RUN:

The race is a 5K (3.1 miles), which is a great distance for experienced runners, inexperienced runners, and folks just looking to have a good time.  Please note that the 5K timed event starts at 10:00am and the Fun Run starts at 9:40am

A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Geri Scott Media Center and our Athletic Department. 

RACE PRICING:

CSY – 5K Fall Paws Classic w/out a pet:
Prior to August 31, 2021 - $25.00 per person includes a shirt

After September 1, 2021 - $25.00 per person (Does NOT include a shirt)

On September 18, 2021 Race Day - $30 per person (Does NOT include a shirt)

CSY – 5K Fall Paws Classic w/pet (One (1) Pet Max):
Prior to August 31, 2020 - $35.00 per person w/one pet. Includes a shirt.

After September 1, 2021 - $35.00 per person w/one pet. (Does NOT include a shirt)

On September 18, 2021 Race Day - $40 per person w/one pet. (Does NOT include a shirt)

CSY – 5K Fall Paws Classic w/pet (Two (2) Pet Max):
Prior to August 31, 2021 - $40.00 per person w/two pets. Includes a shirt.

After September 1, 2021 - $40.00 per person w/two pets. (Does NOT include a shirt)

On September 18, 2021 Race Day - $45 per person (Does NOT include a shirt)

Family Fun Run (Does NOT include a shirt):
Prior to August 31, 2021 - $15.00 per person or $60.00 for families of 4 or more (Does NOT include a shirt)

On September 18, 2021 Race Day - $20.00 per person or $100 for families of 4 or more (Does NOT include a shirt)

Extra Shirts can be purchased in advance and must be ordered by August 31, 2021:

Extra Shirts will be available the day of the event for $12 per shirt on a first come-first served basis at the conclusion of the race.  *Please note that we will not be ordering extra 2XL & 3XL shirts; they must be ordered in advance.

AGE DIVISIONS:

Awards to top in each category/ Male and Female (19 & under) (20-29) (30-39) (40-49) (50-59) (60 & Over)

COURSE:

The race path is on the grass and pavement around Cousler Park. Course is friendly for jogging, strollers and pets* as long as we don’t have any significant amounts of inclement weather.  *Pets must be leashed at all times!

PACKET PICK-UP:

Thursday, September 16th from 3 - 3:30 p.m.

Friday, September 17th from 3 - 3:30 p.m.

Race Day 8:30 a.m. - 9:45 a.m.

COSTUME COMPETITION:

1st Place Costume Winner awards in the following categories:  Largest Pet, Smallest Pet, Best Couple, Female Adult 18-Over, Male Adult 18-Over, Female Student 5-17 years old and Male Student 5-17 years old.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Athletic Department.

PET REQUIREMENTS: 

All your pets MUST be leashed at all times and licensed with current immunizations.  You MUST provide proof of rabies vaccination when you pick up your packet or you will be unable to participate.  Your pets are wonderful, but you MUST pick-up after them.  Please do not let them use buildings, structures or play equipment as fire hydrants.  You MUST control your pet at all times (walking, running, and/or standing).  Your pets leash may NOT exceed 6 foot in length to participate in the race.

Race registrations may not be transferred to another individu
