VIA Family Fun Walk - Run 2020

Join us in the fun! VIA is offering a virtual run-walk that has a little something for everyone in the family! Sign up for this 5k and you can RUN or WALK it! You will have from, August 1st to September 7th to complete your race(s) and submit your results. All proceeds from our event will benefit WVIA.

When🗓: August 1st to September 7th
Start/Finish 🏁: In your home - town!
Registration 🖋: You can register through September 7th to participate in this event.

Registration includes

• All participants receive a VIA Family Fun Run-Walk T-shirt 👕. 
• All race items will be mailed to the address provided at registration! And will be shipped out approximately 1-2 weeks after the race is over.

👟5K Race Option👟
🔸 $40 for 1-2 runners/walkers  
🔸 $70 for 3-4 runners/walkers  
🔸 $120 for 5-6 runners/walkers  


How It Works: Starting on Saturday, August 1st at 12:00 AM, you can run or walk the 3-mile race at any point before the 11:59 PM cutoff on, September 7th, and submit proof of your results to Volunteer and Events Coordinator Caitlin Mackiewicz caitlinmackiewicz@wvia.org. Proof of your race results can be in the form of a screenshot of GPS data used from running apps such as Apple Watch, Garmin, Strava, MapMyRun, fit bit, etc. You are not required to submit your times! This is a great opportunity to get out in your community, local parks, and state recreation facilities. Participants are permitted to run/ walk the race on a treadmill or break the race down whatever way you may see fit. 🗺

Not a member? When you sign up for a family membership of $70 or more per year, you can enroll up tp 4 children under the age of 12 in our VIA Passport 2 Fun Membership program! **Please note all new Passport 2 Fun Memberships will be processed after the completion of the Virtual Race.**
