Let's Run 1.43 Because We Love CVE!

♥Please join us for the THIRD ANNUAL I LOVE CVE FUN RUN!!

RACE DATE: APRIL 27TH 2024

On April 2022 on a rainy Saturday nearly 500 students, parents, and community members joined us for our first ever fun run!  We had a great time running and walking through Zelie, waving to neighbors and friends, and cheering each other on!  It was so much fun that we did it again last year adding more FUN!  This year we welcome you to join your CVE community for the third annual I love CVE Fun Run!

The 2024 run will start at Zelie Park, then take us through our amazing town, THEN we will finish at Zelie Park with food trucks and a post race celebration!!  

We ask that all participants register and sign a waiver.  Parents, grandparents, students and siblings are all welcome!  This year all participants will receive a t-shirt and bib!   Kids will receive a finishing medal!!  We invite all CVE students to wear your finishing medal to school on Monday April 29th!!

We are still working hard to make this event special, a more detailed timeline will be posted as soon as it is available!  If you are interested in adding to the fun please reach out!

Why 1.43? Mr. Fred Rogers was a visionary who authentically taught kindness, compassion, inclusion, empathy, and integrity.   143 is Mr Rogers code for I (1 letter) love (4 letters) you (3 letters).  He is dear to our CVE community.   His philosophy, including 143, has been woven into the fabric of our school.  So a distance of 1.43 seemed perfect!  We hope you will join us in carrying his spirit into the 1.43 Fun Run/Walk Because We Love CVE ! Bee Kind, Have Fun, Let’s Run!
