Description
The GTC Summer 5K Series consists of 4 races to be held near downtown Greenville. The 5K course uses portions of the Swamp Rabbit Trail and is flat and fast.
ALL RACES WILL BE HELD ON WELBORN STREET ADJACENT TO THE FUTURE UNITY PARK SITE NEAR DOWNTOWN GREENVILLE. Participants may park in the free public parking lot on Hudson Street, in the free public parking lot on Welborn Street, or along Welborn Street.
The race dates are Thursday May 16 at 7PM, Thursday June 13 at 7PM, Saturday July 20 at 7:30AM, and Thursday August 15 at 7PM.
The races will be chip timed by Flying Melon Timing.
Participants will receive a goodie bag at the finish line and refreshments after the race.
The July 20 race is our special family event. We will have a FOAM RUN, pie eating contest, free shirts for the first 500 registrants, age group awards, and lots of giveaways!
IMPORTANT NOTE:
PACKET PICK UP IS AT THE GTC TENT ON WELBORN STREET, STARTING ONE HOUR BEFORE THE RACE.
